MIFAB® Series MI-HUB-TR shielded transition couplings are manufactured with gaskets made from neoprene compound that meets the requirements of ASTM C-564 housed inside a Type 300 stainless steel shield. Two Type 300 stainless steel clamps tightened with 5/16 in Type 300 stainless steel hex head screws surround the shield to provide the sealing force. MI-HUB-TR Series of transition couplings are tested and certified to ASTM Standard 1460-2012 and CSA Standard B602-2016 and listed with IAPMO. All models are listed to the National Plumbing Code of Canada and relevant Canadian Standard(s) and bear the cUPC mark of conformity.
