Sioux Chief's Simple Bend Support is designed support 1/2 or 3/4 in PEX when penetrating a wall. The Simple Bend Support shall also be used to re-direct 1/2 or 3/4 in PEX tubing thus eliminating two crimp joints. Design shall include a bend radius such that the elbow does not kink the tube. A minimum of 3 formed ribs provides strength and maintains the radius once elbow is mounted the side of a stud or joist, or installed on the tube to re-direct the run. Minimally, there shall be two small holes located on the center tab of the elbow, which are used to secure the elbow to the structure.
