• Insert copper stub out into pipe hole, apply flux and solder copper making sure to heat the tube, not the bracket

Sioux Chief's copper plated stub out bracket shall be used where necessary to support 1/2, 3/4 or 1 in nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. Holes for positioning copper tube shall be located on 2 in or 4 in center lines depending on model number. Bracket shall be produced from cold-roll steel, copper plated and include aprotective water based clear coat finish to minimize surface rust when arriving at jobsite. Depending on model number, bracket may feature extruded holes, providing a wider soldering surface. Bracket may also feature rolled edges to provide additional strength.
